the better you make the constellations the more effective they are so here's a guide to placing the stars in the correct order

there is also coloured stars that give you buffs

red stars give you x3 damage for 15 seconds if you connect them

green stars gives you a permanent damage upgrade from 1 -> 1.2 -> 1.4 -> 1.6 ect.

blue stars give you a shield that bounce enemy arrows back an damage them
